In-Home Care and Senior Services in Middleboro, MA
Ensuring that seniors live independent and interactive lives in the comfort of their own homes
The quaint town of Middleboro, MA is served from our Comfort Keepers office in Plymouth, which was opened in 2002. Middleboro has become the cranberry capital of the world, hosting the corporate headquarters of Ocean Spray Cranberries. Notable sights include the 1870's Victorian-style town hall, the Beaux Art style town library, and in the spring, the Nemasket River alewife and blue-back herring run upstream to the Assawompset Ponds complex to spawn, pictured here.
Comfort Keepers ensures that our clients are engaged, healthy, and independent. This is a service Comfort Keepers calls ‘interactive caregiving’ and it’s a cornerstone of our operation.
Our unique service - Interactive Caregiving
Interactive caregiving involves “doing with” as opposed to “doing for” which helps to make everyday activities interesting, even inspiring. We make sure our clients are as involved as possible in the care that’s being provided and encourage their participation in the development of their own Plan of Care, which could involve needing assistance with Homemaking and Companionship services, to more personal care needed for bathing and changing.
This care can be scheduled in specific time frames throughout the day or night, and can also be provided around the clock. All of our clients enjoy the benefits of having their services closely supervised by our President, CEO and Clinical Manager, Ruth McNaughton, RN, MHM, BSN, who monitors the care needed and how it is being delivered by our Comfort Keepers in the field.
